Felt Holiday Puzzles

Felt Holiday Puzzles

Last year I made Ada this silly little felt snowman puzzle and she went actually bonkers for it. She asked me to make her some more, so I did and decided to post about them. We now have a snowman, Christmas tree, and a gingerbread man. The nice thing about these is that they’re super easy and cheap. I already had all the felt, but if you were buying, it’s like a quarter for a sheet. They were all really fast to make too because I...

Custom Ironing Board

Custom Ironing Board

Hello friends. It’s been pretty much forever since I posted. Sorry. Life seems busy. In any case, I’m happy to finally post a tutorial! Since we moved, I had to get rid of my old  amazing sewing table because our whole house now is the size of my old sewing room. I wanted an ironing board that would be portable (in case I want to iron in front of the tv), small enough to tuck out of the way when not in use, but big enough to...

A Whole New World

Five Fact Friday

Five Fact Friday

1. Snow. I will not miss the midwest winters. Or much else about the midwest, but especially not the winters. Brian and I spent 3 hours between us shoveling one morning this week and then this happened. The plow came through and splashed horrid heavy snow everywhere. So that’s what I did during nap time. Each shovel full weighed like 50lbs. 2. On the bright side, we had a couple days that were like 45 degrees! So Ada and I made a...

Five Fact Friday

Five Fact Friday

1. On Sunday we went to Brian’s Great Grandmother’s 95th birthday party in Detroit. It was a 5 hour drive and we went there and back on the same day. It was a really long LONG time to be in the car, but Ada did great and it was fun meeting that side of Brian’s family (most of whom he’d never met either). Also, Ada got to meet her Great Great Grandmother and they got a 5 generation photo which is pretty amazing. I hope...
