These yummy German pancakes are fun and delicious (they expand in the oven in an amusing way). They aren’t much like typical pancakes, they’re more dense and eggy, but in a good way, not a gross way. We ate these a lot as kids, thanks mom for the recipe! Alas, I’m not German, so I don’t know if these are actually German, or if we just called them that!
1 C flour
1 C milk
1/2 t salt
1/2 stick butter, melted
Step 1: Mix the flour and eggs, then add the milk and salt and mix again.
Step 2: Take the melted butter and spread it around on the bottom of a glass 9×13 pan.
Step 3: Pour the mixture into the buttered pan and bake at 350 for 20 minutes. Serve with syrup.
