Last year I made Ada this silly little felt snowman puzzle and she went actually bonkers for it. She asked me to make her some more, so I did and decided to post about them. We now have a snowman, Christmas tree, and a gingerbread man.
The nice thing about these is that they’re super easy and cheap. I already had all the felt, but if you were buying, it’s like a quarter for a sheet. They were all really fast to make too because I just freehanded the shapes and designs, no templates or anything, felt is pretty forgiving, so you can just kind of go for it.
All you have to do is pick a design and then start cutting away! Keep one sheet full size for the backing and packaging.
To package them up, pile all the pieces in the middle of the full size sheet.
Then fold the full sheet around the pieces and tie with a ribbon. Easy.
Here’s Ada playing with it last year. She’s just a little excited. Also, not quite sure what a snowman should look like.
This year, a little older, a little wiser. Perhaps a little disenchanted? Such a sad snowman.
